The reason the patient seemed out the chiropractor is because the problem came back after the block and the surgery. So if it was me I'd do some research. You can also get on Amazon and get your own ultra sound machine, the ultrasound machine will get deep like 3 inches into and under the area and stimulate the cellular structure to break up and release the collagen to begin healing. I got mine from Amazon for $39.99. Find a good osteopath as well who works with manipulations who can balance the full body and work from head to toe. I have had ones who have worked with me for one hour in a session. To one who works with me for 15 minutes. Call a osteopath hoSpitalfields who can direct you to a good osteopath, or other osteopaths who can direct you. Also there is a book called Healing Pelvic pain by Amy Stein, that is excellent. You can buy and her book you can do what the book says at home. And it is very helpful in treating the pain. It will be like a onion, one peel at a time. I saw a Pelvic floor disorder therapist and the procedures that were used helped the pudendal neuralgia. So when the OBGYN figured out about the pudendal neuralgia later, the chiropractor I saw. Said that makes sense why the lower Pelvic pain disorder treatment helped. And the lower Pelvic pain disorder therapist suggested that book to her patients. So all good luck to you. I hope this helps. The muscles around that area injured tighten up internally, so to relax the tight muscles internally , the lower Pelvic floor therapist would go internally, and release them with her finger with a glove on her hand, because the muscles get tight. The muscles are trying to protect what's injured. So to relax the muscles, 12 of them like the hands of a clock is what you imagine, you can go to a sex store, buy a finger type gadget, the store might even be able to direct you, and do this at home to relax those muscles internally. Lots of info. I've had relief, so i am just sharing what has helped me before and may help you to get relief while you are figuring out what to do. Hope this helps you.
