@A MyChronicPainTeam Member, take it hour by hour if need be. Always have a place you can retire to if there is too much going on for you. Just listen to conversations in a group, you don’t have to contribute. People around us have busy lives and busy talk,,,we have pain and depression and do what we can when we can. You are not alone in this aspect!

Your comment just made me think of something. So many people had wonderful Christmases year after year as children and then as time went on they weren't wonderful anymore and that adds to the stress and sadness. For me although materially and externally it looked like Christmases and other holidays were wonderful the reality was they were excruciatingly mentally and emotionally stressful and sad. And we all had to pretend that everything was happy happy joy joy and nothing was wrong. This made it even more unhappy and stressful of course! So now that I am an adult (more or less😉) and there's no pretending going on if it's unhappy then it is unhappy (well okay there's some pretending around my parents and in their house) but when I was a child that was my entire universe and now that I am an adult when I am not in their house and I don't have to pretend I can talk freely and realistically with my friends online or on land and it makes the whole stressfulness and sadness be less than it would be.
This is turning out to be a long comment but thank you very much for helping me to see this and put it into perspective. I appreciate that.
I hope that you are blessed with Health 🦋 Happiness 😻 and Harmony 🙏during this season.

With pain it is difficult to stay focused and happy. We cannot do what we use to do. Help others with ideas of how to stay happy
It’s not what you DO. It’s what is in your heart that you share !!
