Wondering what dosage and form of Kratom works.I tried a liquid shot and was pleasantly surprised. Are the capsules just as effective? And other people with chronic pain experience?
I know it's not legal in all states but they do sell it in California where I live.

Members shared mixed experiences with kratom for chronic pain management, with several noting that red strains work best for pain relief but often require high doses (such as 5 capsules at a time or a tablespoon of powder) and tolerance can build over time, reducing effectiveness. Many members described kratom as helpful for dulling pain rather than eliminating it completely, with liquid forms preferred over capsules by some, though the taste of powder was commonly described as unpleasant. A recurring theme was the importance of starting cautiously due to its opiate-like effects and potential for dependence, with suggestions to research reputable sources like Kats Botanical and to use it intermittently for breakthrough pain alongside other pain management strategies.
