I've been diagnosed with AS for a year now, and recently have been told by my doctor that he is almost certain that I also have fibromyalgia. I've tried every medication and injection out there to no avail. I'm miserably in pain every day. Would be great to talk to someone who understands ๐Ÿ˜”

Having AS along with fibromyalgia can make pain feel constant because the nerves stay sensitive even when inflammation is controlled.

You can also connect with people in Antardhwani, an AS support group, where others truly understand living with daily chronic pain.

I was actually looking into plasma treatments, but as you mentioned, it's not covered by insurance. They consider it to be too "experimental."

@A MyChronicPainTeam Member Yup - PRP and stem cells are experimental :-( It's been explained to me that PRP will only help symptoms temporarily, which stem cells are ment to "solve" the issue

How do you go about your day-to-day activities? My symptoms are a fucking roller coaster, so it feels like I can never find any relief.

I have fibromyalia, and a bad flare.
