Is Excedrin Migraine the same thing as Fioricet? Ive tried all the triptans, they dont work... Dr says Im running out of options but he doesn't want to prescribe Fioricet... Ugh am I missing anything??

I was always told if the triptans don’t work it may not be migraine. If this had been going on a while now get a referral to (some city’s have Headache Clinics) but ar least to a Neurologist

Exactly the way I feel. Not one but both of my family drs won’t prescribe anything for my pain. I have whole body RSD (reflex sympathetic dystrophy) or jast as everyone here, chronic regional pain syndrome. I’m depressed, in pain and having a terrible flare-up and I’m expected to function in society as if completely normal. Is this really how it’s supposed to work due to the negligence and drug use/abuse/misuse of others? I feel stripped of everything. Exhausted, depressed and tired. I just got married. I live my husband dearly, he means the world to me, and the man stands by my side through thick and thin. I feel like a horrible person and wife cuz I should be or act happier and I can’t because pain and my drs are robbing me of what little hope I had left. I use Medical marijuana which helps, but I’m from PA it’s only medicinal here, not recreational. Again how do you function in society normally?

I’m not able to take many meds. At all due to reactions to them...but,,I did have Fiorocet at one time at two per dose and it worked great. ASK QUESTIONS,,,your Dr. has to tell you why he decides as he does. Far too many of us suffer needlessly ...it needs to stop!
