Migraine Meds
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Is Excedrin Migraine the same thing as Fioricet? Ive tried all the triptans, they dont work... Dr says Im running out of options but he doesn't want to prescribe Fioricet... Ugh am I missing anything??

I was always told if the triptans don’t work it may not be migraine. If this had been going on a while now get a referral to (some city’s have Headache Clinics) but ar least to a Neurologist

I’m not able to take many meds. At all due to reactions to them...but,,I did have Fiorocet at one time at two per dose and it worked great. ASK QUESTIONS,,,your Dr. has to tell you why he decides as he does. Far too many of us suffer needlessly ...it needs to stop!
