Has anyone had reverse shoulder replacement surgery?
I had rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders (2yrs apart) many years ago. Now doctors are telling me the surgeries have failed and I need shoulder replacement surgery on both. I just finished… read more
Hello, I have had 5 previous back surgeries with fusions. I recently got a knee replacement 12/18/17. I am now having terrible back muscle spasms and sciatic nerve pain. I know it takes some getting used to but this is bad, Its hindering my recovery. I had to lie all day Monday because of this. Now coming up the steps it screamed at me. Its makes me yell out so much zinging pain.
I had my 1st total knee Oct 2016. It went so well. Even to this day!! My other, left knee tortured me up until Dec 2022, when my retiring Ortho did the total knee. From the minute I woke up I was in… read more
I also stopped getting e-mail notifications. Not sure why?
I'm looking for anyone's experience dealing with SI joint pain. I've had problems with my SI joints for years and I've injections & radiofrequency ablations done. At this point nothing is helping. I've had 2 lumbar fusions so I'm sure there's more stress being putting on the SI joints. The past few years have been really tough. 2 lumbar fusion surgeries. 2 hip replacement surgeries, 1 revision surgery on knee replacement and surgery to put in spinal cord stimulator. All since May 2016. Had… read more
Yes, every day, each step is worst than the other, every bone in my body aches! Especially my legs! My hip throbs all night, headaches often lay me down for days from the neck fusion, and lower… read more

One of my wife's friends just underwent a total knee replacement, and it was an “in by ten, out by six” outpatient procedure. I spent three days in the hospital about seven years ago after mine; my wife was in for a week (but she has comorbidities and they have to watch for infection). But 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵? I can not imagine it. Does anyone have experience? I’m probably looking at another replacement this year.
Thank you! I had my right knee replaced ~6 years ago, spent two nights in the hospital followed by two weeks of intensive PT/OT at a very good facility. That knee malfunctions and has become laterally… read more
My husband told me that Pres. Trump said he’d like to do away with half of all pain meds use! I’ve been on pain meds off and on from 21 to mid 30’s since I had received approx. 20+ surgeries in that time. Then 20 years ago ruptured L-4 and L-5, L-5 S-1. Pain was unbearable . I’ve been on them straight since then , Oct 21st at 1:10 pm ,1997. You don’t forget the date that changed your life. I’ve been treated like a drug seeker all my life on meds. Once and awhile you’ll find a dr who knows pain… read more
Hey Kiddo, Believe half of what you HEAR and all of what you SEE!! If Trump wants to be president--he knows--the drugs are for street use. That is what he wants to stop. We have to believe in… read more
Have never had them...but Dr wants to start treatment.
Like so many here, I have to agree. I avoid them sticking any needles into my neck, back or anything related as I have never had a good experience with them.. I have a very high threshold to standing… read more
I assume I had tmj disfunction but an xray was negative. The dentist said it IS tmj and that braces would fix the problem. But they are charging over 5,000 dollars and my insurance company won't cover it because they said it was cosmetic. My teeth are not crooked. I would only do it to get pain relief. Anyone know what I should do?
Look up Wikipedia and see what it says about the pain! See a neurologist as I did and get a brain scan done. Tmi has ruined my life but I am not going to dwell on it. I have had different meds they… read more
