Does Anyone Eating An Anti Inflammatory Diet Fine They Are Shunned By Others For Doing So?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have eaten an anti inflammatory diet for a long time and it is truly a lonely life. I have had others say cruel things to me because of how I chose to eat. I try to do any thing I can to help the pain as I do not want to take narcotics if I can avoid them. This being shunned and ridiculed-I am 66 and surely when others my age and older act like teenager's-Better off alone and being lonely.

I heard that chilies spicy ones with capsicum tend to help with inflammation

Does Anyone Else Suffer Weight Issues Due To Medication?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi, I have been on Lyrica for about 6 months and have put on about 12 kgs. The problem is it is mostly around my middle section and added to the chronic pain it is getting me down. Has anyone else experienced weight gain while on Lyrica and how do you combat it. Really need to be able to lose some of this weight as the extra kgs are making my back pain worse.

Question About THC
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am looking into using CBD oil or marijuana. I am not a regular pot user. I tried some cookies laced with it and it started my heart racing and felt fidgety, which I don't want. Is there something I can use for pain and mild anxiety when needed? They just recently started opening dispensaries here. Trying to find relief without adding other issues. Thanks.

Hello peaceandlove, CBD oil works great plus you have better control on its use. A few drops can be some relief. Feel better, lori k

Does Anyone Have Retroperitoneal Fibrosis? Or Even Heard Of It? 1.4 Cases Per 100,000
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I joined an RF support group and had to quit because of how they promoted Western Medicine. The only treatment they know is steroid infusions. I found an alternative therapy and have been making slow progress. I have shrunk my aortic aneurysm from 5.3cc to 3.2cc. with an enzyme therapy and an anti-inflammatory diet.

The RF site is great for research on the subject their archives are beyond compare.

Is It Common For Chronic Pain Sufferers To Work With A Psychologist?

I work for a pharmacy that specializes in serving chronic pain patients and we know the financial strain that medication can cause. Does this make psychological help unaffordable?

To Those Living With A Chronic Pain Survivor
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I know living with someone who is in constant pain can be hard. Sometimes we take it out on the person we love, because we can’t fix ourselves and it is so exhausting. We are staring down a monster who can actually change in the matter of a minute. It’s unfair of us to do this, especially to the ones who love us and are there for us. There are no excuses. There aren’t any words that can describe the extent of how it hurts. The mind games it plays. I am a chronic pain survivor myself. I am also… read more
