Why Are We Being Treaing Like We Are Bad People Because We Are In Pain
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

I know that they are bad people out there, but we are not one of them, and yet we get treated like we are bad, because we are in pain and what helps us is being decided by people who do not feel what we do

How Do You Decide Whether Or Not To Visit The Hospital With Your Chronic Pains
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Ive avoided going to the hospital when my pelvic pains flair up, because i know theres nothong they can do for me. Ive taken panadol, ibuprofen, and my prescribed codeine, none of it helps and i usually end up vomiting because of how painful it can get, its imobilising. I know the hospital cant give me anything or help in any way, i usually just get a few tests and am told to go home. And just wait for my ultrasound in 2 weeks from now. Help?

Contracts
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Did anyone else have to sign a contract with their Dr.? I had to sign a promise that I would not accept any controlled substance from any other Dr. Or his service will be terminated.

When I was taken to the ER with a fractured clavicle I had no idea what they were giving me in the IV. I FOUND OUT LATER.

I found out from my family Dr. That CBD drops will affect your urine test and will show up. BE FOREWARNED.

Contracts are malarkey. We are treated worse than injured animals and pets.

Outpatient Total Knee?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

One of my wife's friends just underwent a total knee replacement, and it was an “in by ten, out by six” outpatient procedure. I spent three days in the hospital about seven years ago after mine; my wife was in for a week (but she has comorbidities and they have to watch for infection). But 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵? I can not imagine it. Does anyone have experience? I’m probably looking at another replacement this year.

Comments From People That Have Weaned Off Of Narcotics By Your Choice.
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Lately it seems as though there are several people weaning off medications by their own personal choice. I'm not referring to those of you that are being forced to get off of meds. I'd be interested in hearing your results; comments. If you have been force to get off of narcotics and had good results, please share. Jean
