Medical Marijuana
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Approaching Christmas it would be nice to offer her at least an attempt with canabis bought off the street and turned into canabutter

Is There Any Way To Fix This Problem?
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

What can we do?? I can't afford to doctor shop, copays are too expensive, especially with my only income being SS. Have good and bad days, bad days would love tramadol to keep me functional. Can't find a Dr that thinks I'm not a drug addict. For effin tramadol!! The other choice which doesn't work is… read more

Cortisone Shots For Hip Pain???
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone had cortisone shots for hip pain? I just started seeing a new pain Dr. He did x-rays of my hips but they look good. I have extreme pain in my lower back, right hip & knee. I have Osteoarthritis in my knees & was on Opioids for a few months
I changed Dr's & I am curious if anyone else has had these shots and if they work. I have Lupus, CKD, Glaucoma, Osteoarthritis, hypertension, PTSD, Anexity, depression, Agoraphobia, PAD, so I can not use any antiinflammatory drugs or anything… read more

Do You Ever Feel You Are Losing Control
A MyChronicPainTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone else feel that they are getting worse pain increasing feeling a bit anxious & paranoid.
The control you usually have to manage what is wrong is just slipping away. Doctor does not seem to understand "Well it's a degenerative condition" & you worry that the day will come when you are out of options
I think winter is probably worse for this. Folk say you will be fine!! NO you know what I wont be "fine" I will never be fine again. What do others do when they hit rock bottom?

The one good thing about hitting rock bottom is that there is only 1 direction to go, and no, I'm not talking about left or right but up up up. If you feel your doctor isn't giving you what you need… read more
