I do not know if the medication is even still working for my pain. I just am wondering if there are other meds for my pain due to some possible new side effects. Or is it affects?

Hi, I have been on Lyrica for about 6 months and have put on about 12 kgs. The problem is it is mostly around my middle section and added to the chronic pain it is getting me down. Has anyone else experienced weight gain while on Lyrica and how do you combat it. Really need to be able to lose some of this weight as the extra kgs are making my back pain worse.

I've tried Eucalyptus lotion, which helps falling asleep, but not continuously through the night. So tired of being tired.

My Medical Aid Fund advised that it will not pay for Lyrica as it hasn't been approved in South Africa. To expensive to continue using at own cost !

What does restless leg syndrome feel like? I can feel the blood pumping in by veins/arteries from hip to toes. Is this how it starts?

I have suffered with fatigue and widespread pain for more years than I care to remember. It seems as though whenever I mention this to anyone that I see medically, its as if they blow it off. I can't seem to get anyone to actually listen to me. Very frustrating. There are days when I literally have trouble putting one foot in front of the other to get what I need to get done.

I suffer from neck pain which goes down arms to fingertips. I have been told its nerve pain but in pain 24/7. I have tried ibuprofen with paracetamol which didnt help and co-codamol which I didnt want to take long term.

Does anyone have tips for helping with nerve pain. I take paracetamol and have been on turmeric capsules to help with inflammation. I also use a TENS machine at night before I go to bed

I took my first dose of neurontin last night for nerve pain. I became more dizzy than I have ever been in my life. Falling over and had to hang on to the bed. I was terrified. I have been dizzy often never anything in my life like this and it is still lasting almost 20 hours later, though not as bad. It was the lowest dose made. 100 mg.
