Is DEA Going To Crack Down On Those Who Take Pain Meds For Real Pain More Than What They Have Done Already?

Is DEA Going To Crack Down On Those Who Take Pain Meds For Real Pain More Than What They Have Done Already?

My husband told me that Pres. Trump said he’d like to do away with half of all pain meds use! I’ve been on pain meds off and on from 21 to mid 30’s since I had received approx. 20+ surgeries in that time. Then 20 years ago ruptured L-4 and L-5, L-5 S-1. Pain was unbearable . I’ve been on them straight since then , Oct 21st at 1:10 pm ,1997. You don’t forget the date that changed your life. I’ve been treated… read more

Why Are We Being Treaing Like We Are Bad People Because We Are In Pain

I know that they are bad people out there, but we are not one of them, and yet we get treated like we are bad, because we are in pain and what helps us is being decided by people who do not feel what we do

When You See A New Doctor About Your Pain, How Much Detail Do You Go Into About Your Pain?

When You See A New Doctor About Your Pain, How Much Detail Do You Go Into About Your Pain?

I have seen many doctors in the past couple of years trying to find the source of my pain. I had neck fusion surgery in September 2014. Instead of getting better, things kept going downhill. I started getting daily migraines and pain that grew from my neck and shoulders to my arms, legs and now my trunk and hips. I have fibromyalgia and diffuse myofascial syndrome according to this last doctor. But I feel that there is… read more

Why Are Doctors Ignoring The "conclusive Fact" From The AMA That,"there Is No Addiction To Opioids If And Taken As Prescribed.

How can a Doctor let people suffer in pain,? The government threaten them? I will not suffer and will get what I need from the street. I have legit pain and do not abuse and will not be mistreated by any Doctor.

Medical Marijuana

Does anyone know of a doctor in NJ that will prescribe marijuana? I have tried everything short of surgery and I am in constant pain. All of my doctors don't believe it can help for pain but I disagree.

Pain Doctors

Pain Doctors

Does anyone in the Indianapolis/ Avon area know of or deal with a good pain management doctor? My has left his practice to go to the Academic side of medication. I'm at a completely dumbfounded since I scheduled an appointment in the same office just different doctor and he refuses to do anything for chronic pain. So any and all thoughts and input would be very welcome. Thanks in advance for your help in this matter

Looking For A Pain/depence Doctor In Central Virginia. Read Below For Further Explanation.

I just found out from a pain doctors assistant that you have to be out of treatment for 2 years before a regular pain doctor can prescribe narcotic pain meds. If this is true I need everyone's help in finding one. People in chronic pain have no support or say so once you get involved with treatment. I'm not perfect but my original pain doctor dropped me two years ago. Since then I've had no control of my pain. That's… read more

Has Any One Else Had Their Pain Meds Cut Because Of The Phoney CDC Report On Dosages 90 Mmg Morphine Equalivent ?

My doctor quoted some CDC report that was intended as a guideline for general practitioners that said no chronic pain patient should be prescribed more then 90mmg of morphine equalivent for chronic pain patients irregardless of pain levels or time on opioids. The DEA jumped all over this reccomdation and is using it to force pain doctors to drasticly cut medications, leaving millions of us in dire pain… read more
