Diagnosed with severe Lumbar spinal stenosis. Orthopedic doc recommended laminectomy and fusion. Decided to go to a neurosurgeon for second opinion. He also recommended laminectomy on three vertebrae and fusion on three vertebrae. I won't kid you, I'm scared. Is the surgery going to work, relieve me of pain? How long is the recovery? How do you get your motivation back after a long fight with pain. The feeling of giving up when nothing seems to go right? When those you talk to say they don't wanna hear it anymore? When you have so much that needs done but your body won't cooperate and you feel overwhelmed.

His name is Bugsie, were together 24\7, sometimes he's my only company. He warns me when Ive got a migraine coming on. He keeps me active when I'm able but is quite happy just hanging out on the couch watching a movie or curling up in bed with me in bad days. My daughter was in a bad car accident and also has fibromyalgia and she smokes a vape pen with thc. She says it makes it so she can get through a day ... Sort of. She is still unable to work
I am wondering if anyone has had a root canal while having fibro or other sensitivity problems with your mouth? If so was it a long recovery due to the sensitivities of our mouths? Did you have lots of pain during and/or after? How long did it take to recover?
I have very sensitive nerves in my mouth and it takes forever to freeze me, sometimes it doesn't work at all.
